Since there are tens of non-governmental organizations funded by the state that would love to sue my bottom for writing the truth so let’s make this article a farce, performance, a theater piece or comedy. It’s entirely upon my perceiving readers to find out what is a joke and what is the truth.
Yes, the Romani people are being discriminated against in every field that you can possibly imagine. In the 1960s 100 % of Romani pupils were separated into special education schools in undisclosed Prague’s district. The schools were designed for children with an IQ of 70 or below. And even though the Romani kids’ IQ average may be lower, there is still a bunch of small creatures with IQ higher than 70.
They are also discriminated on the housing market, job market, and virtually in all aspects of the Czech life.
Imagine the whole Romani family going to the doctor. They don’t demand to be allowed to go to the doctor’s office preferentially. They are obediently sitting and not making any noise. It same goes with the Romani people as beloved neighbors. They are as silent as nobody can notice their presence. Have you heard this? “What is the best sentence a Romani man can tell you? -Good morning, my neighbor!”
There is, however, a great problem with their education. Don’t get confused. They love to be educated. The Ashkenazi Jewish people or East Asians ain’t got shit on them (pardon my French). The Romani pupils or students perform better in the formal educational system than their Czech counterparts. So what is the deal? I will tell you. The Czech Republic has its transportation system on the level of the developing world. Pricey, unreliable and infrequent. And what about the education system on its own? You have to pay for it (yes, from kindergarten to the university).
Since they consist only 2 % of the population, they are not over-present in the penitentiary system. Actually, their number is lower than it should be. Don’t give on their detractors. When quintuplets were born to a Romani pair, some people joked they will become the clients of the employment office, social security office, and prison service later in their lives. Such abrasive racists. Criminology patterns also go to their advantage.
Their detractors are also wrong when they claim the Romani people throw garbage from their windows to the backyard. In Slovakia, the Roma villages are polluted with unwanted dogs or puppies that – according to Romani enemies – young Romani children are killing and torturing. Actually, the native Slovak people do such horrendous things.
There are no more hard-working people than the Romani people in the Czech Republic (maybe except for the Vietnamese).
The Romani people’s non-governmental organizations teach them how to behave in the majority society, help them educate themselves. But their detractors only say the NGOs only point out racists cases and put the Romani people in the position of victims.
There could be change and success with their integration. Something like George Soros has done in Hungary. However, it is very costly and would go straight opposite to the public opinion. I should also note the background eminences don’t want to integrate Roma people since they control the media and when suitable they distract the public opinion by pointing out some Romani people’s crimes. Perhaps the oligarchs will pay the check. No, I am just kidding.
