Hollywood (basically controlled by Jewish people) and massive international propaganda made being of Jewish origin a popular thing.
I have nothing against it since it is completely harmless when it is not mixed with religious intolerance.
But how ironic it is. The Jews were hated for thousands of years. Perhaps the greatest king of the Czech lands and emperor Charles IV is held in the highest regard but he allowed Prague’s Jews to be murdered.
Being a Jew was always a burden. First of all, there was religious antisemitism; Jews were portrayed as devils in the church paintings. Secondly, there was national antisemitism which regarded Jews as a foreign nation. And third, the racist sentiment has appeared (Jews often do look different than normal Europeans).
Even after the Holocaust, Jews were treated harshly when coming back from the concentration camps. The USA was hiding the holocaust existence as Americans could have taken it as a pretext for war (yes, saving Jews). Holocaust, the first industrial genocide, wasn’t regarded as something special when it happened.
All of it has changed as influential propaganda appeared. Hollywood made tens of movies about WW2 but only about Jewish suffering.
Needless to say, millions of other nationalities perished during the holocaust. But nobody cares because they were not Jews.
As a matter of a fact, the holocaust has become an industry and – with all due respect to the Jews that had perished – really over-hyped.
I have never seen a Hollywood movie about circa 27 million Soviet citizens casualties. No such movie will ever be released.
People are trying to find Jewish origin now. So being a Jew is actually popular. How ironic!
