One of the few phenomena the US and Europe share is the enormously tragic state of paedo-psychiatry.
I am a victim of it myself. My moderate depression, strong anxiety, OCD and stuttering, emotional flattening, autism and personality disorder were horribly neglected. I am wondering whether the appointments were worth it at all.
But then we have over-prescription with tens of millions of children being put on medicine without a fair reason.
Big Pharma wants to make sure their business fair well. But those in need are suffering the most. It same goes for the adult population (250,000 homeless, 380,000 incarcerated).
