Newspapers form is obsolete! And their ethic codex? They break even their own rules

Not only does media inform in the way our evolutionary-given prehistoric instincts want (so they misinform) – social news, stories, talking (opinions), but they completely defy how modern news should look like: statistics, in-depth analysis, making new moral system and its complexity explained. Equations and their geometrical illustrations. The old format is far more than obsolete.

No, since monkeys want to know what kind of crazy mass shooter it was, who murdered whom, where the accident happened and a fairy-tale-like description of what Chino-US relationships look like, we have what we have and it brings the real, statistically significant tragedies in reality.

“One death is a tragedy, a million deaths a statistic.” A Stalin quote that was never published by him, but he allegedly took this stance. In 2023, one crazy shooter shot 14 people to death in Czechia. It resonated in society. Meanwhile, the officials came with statistics that 36,000 people in Czechia die prematurely because of the poor state of medical care. Yes, the care, since nobody really cared.

Even shallow statistics should be mentioned by the media, but no. One unnamed journalist openly said that political commentaries should not just inform, but also entertain (infotainment). Truly moral.

Now let’s go to their own “ethic rules”:

1. They should be independent

This sounds like a joke since they have their owner(s) connected to certain power structures, and advertising agencies, and there are patron-client forces that just make journalists write news some way

2. They should be transparent

An average reader must, of course, know a lot about the political background independently. It is absolutely ridiculous.

3. Fairness

Since they intentionally highlight some news instead of others, there is no fairness.

4. Playing with one side

A few people know that scandals or information that possess are being leaked by one side of interest (for example, one super-rich family) which means to damage another interest group. So what does it possibly mean for journalists? Playing political chess. Intrigues, thousands of possible combinations and immersing into dirty politics. I am not saying that it is better nothing than something, definitely not.

5. They have no ties to something bigger

This is an utmost lie. They are indispensable parts of the establishment – lobbyists, movers-and-shakers, crooks, super-rich families, lodges, secret services, and hence media as their own maid.

6. Impartial reporting

Their reporting is very selective. Every medium has an agenda and it depends on what the background influencers want.
