Every politician wants to have one thing done after gaining office – consolidation of power. The shadow power structures are in hostile constellations. Every one of them wants to gain as much influence as it can.
Since the US banks, super-rich families behind them and power structures are fractured, Trump must make sure he (not them) gains as much power as he can while he is managing them.
The Czech president let all their media attack him
When elected, one Czech president started a brutal game of power plays (power consolidation) by alienating the super-rich groups against each other. He started with this immediately which broke the protocol, alienating the current politicians (in the Czech Republic, the most powerful person (on paper) should be a prime minister).
And since they owned media, there was impossible brainwashing in every outlet how bad is he and that it cannot get worse.
He served a few or zero interest groups at the moment. And he also didn’t care the media was attacking him. He made his point, then, by becoming extremely powerful.
Every super-rich group has its own interests
They are also called interest groups because of their interests. And since each of the sides has different interests, they clash.
Nearly every politician is seeking someone who makes him through the highest level of politics, something dark at its core
If Elon Musk does this in the Trump case and George Soros did in the case of Joe Biden, it is left to my sensible readers.
Trumps insinuate steps hostile to one group, beneficial for another
It is like a threat. Giving Ukraine to Russia (some interest groups would like Russia to belong to them), increasing the tariffs (extorting), and foreign aid restrictions (aka bribing local politicians).
The administration has authorized initiatives to overhaul civil services, potentially reducing or eliminating entire agencies. But this means bringing or kicking particular people.
Power consolidation and Trump: Will we see an unmatched power?

Since major interest groups backed Trump during his third presidential run, this may be a huge power gain by consolidating power.
We don’t know whether the power consolidation will be as big as in his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. He hopefully won’t be an autocrat, and won’t gain such a power. But Trump – in the beginning – may really be powerful (not just from that his office holds immense power).
