Some European highly-ranked politician boasted a long time ago that Kyiv is still Europe while Moscow is Asia.
It was a political statement and it should be treated as such. The Russians have been treated as aggressors and rightfully so, however, Ukraine is nearly on par with Russian when it comes to human rights.
Prevalent prison torture, limited freedom of the press, huge xenophobia and so on.
The Western media have been portraying Ukraine as the good side. But look deeply at the problem. Numbers of revolutions, the citizens were totally inept to curtail corruption. The country is very poor and people are emigrating in huge numbers.
Had Russia chosen the same approach Ukraine had chosen, the Russian Bear would be in turmoil even now.
I am not apologetic for dictators but they have two choices: autocracy or global government.
