I always hear the Czech culture is Slavic with a strong German influence. I can’t deny that the Czech language is Slavic. It same goes for some folk habits. There is no doubt.
However, when you want to prove some causation, you must at least use some factor analysis. And how do you prove some influences that had happened hundred years before?
What about humanism, the Victorian era, Renaissance? We have absolutely no clue what other influences were altering what makes nowadays Czech culture (even back in the tribal age).
You would have to mathematically analyze the physical state of what we consider the Czech people and then you would have the desired results.
The Czech culture (meaning people’s behavior) is something that really does exist, however, you cannot tell the difference between a stereotype and a real national trait. For example, corruption is a factor you can prove. Maybe the Czechs suffer from cowardliness, don’t tell you what they think straight to your face. Maybe.
