Holistic medicine, the pseudoscience at its best

I love spiritual things that came into existence during the period of science. Alternative medicine is one of them.

In the Middle Ages, they understood that when assessing whether the medicine works, you must give the real medicine to 20 people and placebo to 20 people with exactly the same condition. Then you see whether it works.

Nowadays alternative medicine purveyors couldn’t care less. One of the holistic medicine firm manager said: “If we put goats poop inside people would buy it anyway.”

There is no known principle of effects when we exclude some spiritual powers (and nowadays physics can exclude them).

I have been a witness when people were telling me: “It works. You see the dynamics of it.” The fact of the matter is that placebo can really cure. And even if it is not placebo there are thousands of reasons in medicine why the particular human being’s diagnosis has disappeared or improved.

Statistics clearly demonstrate that homeopathy is just pseudoscience as any other.
