The US debacle: The majority of the world population lives in countries with robust systemic torture in prisons

The USA always says they do things only to improve human rights all around the whole world.

But it is business as usual. There isn’t a prison system that wouldn’t be abusing human rights anywhere in the world. However, there are systems where torture and wrongdoings are much more prevalent.

Denailing, bone-breaking, waterboarding, tooth extraction, sleep deprivation, mutilation and so on.

As you are reading this article, it all happens right now to at least one hundred people.

So why is the United States which often boasts as a pioneer of human rights failing to make the world better? Because business is a matter of priority and some human rights issues won’t thwart it.

The US would have the political capital to stop the torture. But why?
