Supersmart AI in 19th century. Human labor could have been eradicated centuries ago

In my culture, they often say you could achieve more, have a better education. It is a pity for the humanity that you have such a job (an underachiever).

This cannot be more laughable. It looks like human society is doing everything to improve its condition and scientific achievements. Buying a new mansion, super-duper cars, renewing your bathroom, eating out and all the perks of a consumerism society are really things that make science make progress.

India has an expenditure-GDP ratio of 0.7%. The US gives 3,4 % on research and development. You may object that Silicon Valley has its own research but it is mainly applied instead of the basic one.

The funny thing is that people claimed that socialism (for example, in communist Czechoslovakia) used to have artificial employment. It was not necessary to have such employment, people (or the economy) just didn’t need it. Now they don’t need it as well so they need to buy new luxurious cars while the most vulnerable don’t have jobs (we don’t need them).

As the Scientific revolution started, if the resources for basic research were at tens of percent (I cannot tell you a specific number, because only a few people could conduct scientific research and IQ back then was lower and different even in respective countries), the world would be completely different.

If mathematics made progress back then with subsequent computational science advancement, there would have been super-smart AI in the 19th century. No kidding! Can you imagine Victorian Great Britain not only without the animalistic, inhumane working conditions but actually people without working?

And what about DNA discovered centuries ago? Since AI would have molded humans by genetic means (to be more moral, intelligent, healthy), John von Neumann would have been embarrassed by his low IQ (which is now the highest of the highest).

Society would hold science-made morality (maybe close to utilitarianism) and would be full of infinitely happy robots with consciousness and emotions and corresponding happy people.

Now let’s back to the notion that American scientists (yes, only them because the US uses every possible force to make other countries’ universities bad (secret agency, super-rich families, international lobbyist, their own people of influence)) are doing everything possible to improve humanity! My blog site cherishes polite words. But are you f***ing kidding me?

Zero money (compared to American GDP, the wealth of the super-rich families, and the wealth of ordinary Americans) on cancer, mental illness, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and infectious diseases.)

Microscopes, telescopes, steam engines, telegraphs, automobiles, airplanes, the internet, quantum computing, renewable energy, nanotechnologies, electricity, self-driving cars and society without labor could have been possible centuries ago! Now we have child labor, modern slavery and regular employment depriving people of their personal lives.
