The Christian morals. Why do prisoners torture child abusers?

You can steal, rob, or murder an elderly person, but when you touch a child, it is a huge problem for prisoners in Christian cultures.

One can object it may be natural as a huge percentage of prisoners were abused by someone at some point in their childhood (some estimates go from 30 to 70 %).

But it doesn’t happen in Chinese, Indian, or Pakistani cultures to this enormous level. Of course, be sure I am not advocating abuse in any form, albeit this is so significant phenomenon that you have to notice it.

Original Christianity considers children as innocent in some idealized concept, Christian parents also may actively cultivate a sense of goodness and virtue in their children, reinforcing the idea of them being saintly.

Numerous teachings emphasize the purity and innocence of children. For instance, in the New Testament, Jesus says: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).

Also, in Matthew 18:3, Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

But the weirdest thing is that revenge is prohibited or restricted in Christian teachings so the aforementioned prisoners actually don’t act by Christian rules.

Back in history, they surely didn’t conduct these ways, but as though ways were more progressive, they took the better part of Christianity, so torturing anyone by anyone is banned in nowadays democratic “developed” countries that are Christian cultures.
