Wikipedia states: “Universe People or Cosmic People of Light Powers (Czech: Vesmírní lidé sil světla) is a Czech and Slovak UFO religion founded in the 1990s and centered on Ivo A. Benda. Their belief system is based upon the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations communicating with Benda and other contactees since October 1997 telepathically and later even by direct personal contact. They are considered to be the most distinctive UFO religion in the Czech Republic.”
The main character of Universe People’s delusions is Aštar Šeran and his flotilla.
Literally, no one cared about their delusions (except for being a laughing matter) but the point is where is the difference between Christianity and Universe People?
Christianity has a few billion adherents more than Universe People but the delusions are palpably the same.
Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus Christ, you eat the body and blood of Jesus Christ who was resurrected, believe in miraculous water that heals, and believe in prayer, God, afterlife. Christianity is full of it.
But since its adherents were raised Christian or Christianity was historically the main religion with which to align, they are Christians.
And another cultural phenomenon is prominent. Since the majority of people were Christians 100 years ago in nowadays Czech Republic no one has mocked it. And the anti-mocking sentiment prevails to this day. Even though Christianity is as delusional as the Universe People were.
