In one of the biggest political comebacks ever, Donald Trump not only went from anti-establishment candidate (he had the support only of one group, the majority didn’t lend him their hidden power) to pro-establishment candidate. He had balanced and went through political chess to gain the support of the majority of hidden groups. But his goal is even bigger, creating The Trump Dynasty.
This new Trump Dynasty will allow Donald J. Trump Jr. or his other sons to maintain his father’s connections and possibly become POTUS in the future.
History of the US political dynasties
Political dynasties have shaped the United States. Families like the Kennedys, Bushes, and Roosevelts have held power across generations. Their influence spans presidencies, Congress, and state offices. These families often combine wealth, name recognition, and political connections. This creates a platform for continuous dominance.
The Kennedy family became a symbol of ambition. Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. built the foundation. His sons John, Robert, and Edward carried the torch. John F. Kennedy’s presidency marked the peak of their political influence. Robert and Edward extended their legacy in the Senate. Tragedy and scandal often followed, but their impact remained strong.
The Bush family grew their political base in Texas. Prescott Bush served as a U.S. Senator. His son George H. W. Bush became president. George W. Bush followed as the 43rd president. Jeb Bush served as Florida’s governor. The family maintained power through conservative values and strong networks.
The Roosevelts showcased a different style of leadership. Theodore Roosevelt championed progressive policies. Franklin D. Roosevelt led during the Great Depression and World War II. Both men transformed the presidency. Their distant familial connection still bound their legacies.
Other families have held sway too. The Adams family produced two presidents early in U.S. history. The Clintons leveraged their political partnership. Bill Clinton served as president. Hillary Clinton pursued her own presidential ambitions. Their joint influence reshaped Democratic politics.
Dynasties often face criticism. Opponents argue they concentrate power unfairly. They claim this undermines meritocracy.
Despite criticism, these families persist. Their legacies inspire loyalty and controversy. They demonstrate how power evolves within families. Each dynasty reflects a unique chapter in U.S. history.
The Trump Dynasty? Connections are everything
My sentient readers know very well you cannot enter into politics without the backing of big money. However, you must have very good connections to the top lobbyists (more powerful than POTUS), Big Banks (which are in fact interconnected), and super-rich families owning the whole USA.
So Mr. Donald J. Trump was a bad kid. One former Czech president detesting the US (standing by the Russian power connections) proclaimed with apparent joy that the majority of the interest groups didn’t want Trump to be elected (the first time).
The situation has gotten different. Donald Trump possesses the best connections and is ready to thrive (at least with the given power).
IQs, talents, Ivanka’s incompetence, and his sons readily taking the presidency
Donald Trump often boasts about his sheer IQ and the IQs of his respective family members.
However, psychometrics isn’t an exact science, even though the “g factor” is one of the most significant concepts in the humanities. You may have an IQ, and that’s it. And I am highly suspicious this is Ivanka’s case.
Her mother was highly intelligent, enormously talented in business (Donald Trump owns her everything), excellent sportswoman. Well, I know people that speak better English than this lady did.
Ivanka, except for her native English ability, is the exact opposite. Not only IQ isn’t everything, but we have talents, creativity, and intelligence in a broader sense, in a generalizable way and, of course, we have infinite mental strategies that make us achieve something.
I have heard jokes about Ivanka, despite being in the center of the action, she wasn’t attentive to the environment, unable to grasp it and learn from it.
The Trump Dynasty: Ivanka out of the game, Donald Jr., Eric and Barron able to do it
Mr. Donald Trump Jr. is apparent to be one of the possible presidential candidates. Along with his brother Eric, they managed their father’s business so there is a real possibility to have good political skills they can learn by their father’s side.
Barron may be a new political star despite we don’t know his potential talents.
Connections, trust, and many Trumps for decades. Think about the Kennedys
Donald Trump won’t be president forever, hopefully. However, his kids or the kids of his kids may have an impact on the political landscape for decades.
If the super-rich can trust Trump just like they trusted George H. W. Bush and his son, the same goes for the Trump family.
The Kennedys’ influence is fading; the Trump dynasty may, and likely will, thrive.
Conclusion and moral aspects
While I described the sheer reality, no such thing as dynasties should ever exist (from the common morality standpoint). Politics should be devoid of any external influence – no Big Banks, super-rich families, lobbyists, crooks, movers-and-shakers.
No clientelism whatsoever. Media should be paid by people and expose any influence of the aforementioned on politics. And media should also expose whether other media is influenced.
Perverse serving the super-rich should have a vivid stop sign. Let’s make politics without clientelism.
