Why do famous persons with extremely high IQs never tell the number?

I have a page about IQ estimates of geniuses. But why the estimates? The persons involved must likely have taken an IQ test in their lifetimes (excluding those who didn’t have that opportunity because we had no clue about the “g factor” back then).

We may say it is their privacy, but people tend to oversimplify the “g factor” concept, falsely connect IQ to other psychological traits, and people don’t want to brag about it (elitism). And they don’t want to compete with other brainy people since IQ isn’t everything (people with greater contribution may have lower IQs than their less futile counterparts).

I don’t underestimate the significance of IQ but their stratospheric IQ results in derived talents (chemistry, physics, economics). Don’t get me wrong, the “g factor” is instrumental.

But the final issue you likely haven’t expected – eugenics. Since a really high IQ is so important to contribute in both exact sciences and humanities, the super-rich groups ruling this world would silence people telling their stratospheric IQ. Imagine a world where IQ 190 is an average – the puppet masters would be gone.

The “g factor” concept, one of the most significant statistical concepts in humanities, is too precious to give people reasons how to raise it by genetic means.

While the genes responsible for intelligence are too perplexing, we are sure that we know a lot of genes responsible for higher IQ, only to be put into embryos.

And while AI is getting smarter and smarter, it may design its own genes for intelligence that bring humankind to another level.
