What if China completely succumbed to the United States

China is a problem for the US because the super-rich groups cannot control it economically (thus politically – big business rules in every country).

If China let the USA control her, the massive prison torture would have to end. It same goes for the genocide of Uyghurs. Democracy would prevail.

China would be just like Taiwan – one of the most prosperous and economically strong countries. Social inequality would likely remain high because of the culture.

The USA would make it another Germany. One unnamed secret service would start to have significant influence. And the US would make sure their universities would be bad because the US wants to be dominant scientifically and economically.

The constitution would be peaceful and restrict the prime minister’s competence to a high degree (just like in Germany). The US would guarantee China’s security (just like Japan) as the Chinese army would be very small compared to the size of the country.

Even though the US doesn’t care about economic human rights, the massive investment would elevate hundreds of millions of people from poverty to high living standards.

America would make sure the best minds would be lured to the US universities.

I am fully aware China has a completely different culture (collectivistic) so trying to move to the individualistic one wouldn’t prove futile. But the country would be something like a large version of South Korea or Japan.

I absolutely detest US politics and their imperialistic ambitions when poor soldiers are dying while the super-rich are sipping champagne. But such a change for China would have beneficial effects.

Now let me put it straight. Some people in China are in power (and they will not give it up) and have culturally absolutely different notions of how China should look.

As I wrote, the US is evil but this vision of China is really superb (compared to other options).
