What is really antisemitism and what is not? Ordinary Jews, big business, Zionism and religious clientelism

In 2023 and 2024, the reminiscence of terrible and horror-like antisemitism is re-surging as Hamas is taking delight in kidnapping, torturing, and killing Jewish people. Enormously despicable and heinous crimes breaking the elementary human rights. My view of the conflict is here.

Even European Jewry are in distress, Jewish stars are being drawn on their doors, and Jews are being injured or killed. Totally insupportable!

I have written an article about antisemitism (here), but the nowadays events led me to expand my thoughts and prepare a lesson for those uninitiated.

First of all, if it hadn’t been “us/them” (tribalism), no wars and violence would have been taking place. But this is history. We obviously cannot change the past. We can only alter the future.

In history, it started with religious antisemitism; Jews were portrayed as devils in the church paintings. Secondly, there was national antisemitism which regarded Jews as a foreign nation. And third, racist sentiment has appeared (Jews often look different than normal Europeans). Or at worst, these three combined.

And since decent people don’t judge if someone has a hooked nose, sad eyes, thick lips, olive skin, curly hair, is black or yellow; has black, yellow or brown hair; high or low cheekbones. I couldn’t care less. Though I am aware I am a mix of Slavic, Celtic and Germanic people, I don’t care. If I look German, Arab, black or Russian, I have absolutely no problem with it.

Antisemitism can be traced back to ancient times, with the Middle Ages as a really disgusting period for people of Jewish origin. They didn’t know there were galaxies, evolution, and evolutionary psychology explaining human behavior, and basically no universities with a formal educational system existed. Fearing of God, those poor beings in hostile environments fostered a sense of belonging.

Pogroms took place, there was discrimination everywhere they went, segregation (ghettos), preposterous collective guilt for the killing of Jesus Christ; they were scapegoated for economic problems; crazy accusations of blood libels, and finally The Spanish Inquisition.

So in many non-Jewish people, this ordeal now gives Jews a special place in their judgment leaving them enormously irritated when met with antisemitism (for example, Czech judges, journalists).

But what is antisemitism and where criticism is due? Criticism of Zionism was no antisemitism before the new settlers came, now – with a functional state existing – is relocating Jewish people very unpractical, hurting them, therefore antisemitic.

Any prejudice, discrimination, groundless judgment, violence, prosecution, harassment, racial or religious hate is definitely antisemitic.

You can blame a Jew because of his or her, for example, undesirable personality traits, not because he or she is a Jew. You can, perhaps as an atheist, blame a Jewish person for his religion, but it shouldn’t be emphasized because he particularly believes in Judaism.

Now let’s dive into a more controversial issue. And it is called patron-client relations. “The patron/client system can be defined as a mutual arrangement between a person that has authority, social status, wealth, or some other personal resource (patron) and another who benefits from their support or influence (client).” (Wikipedia)

Unfortunately, human society is ridden by it. It starts with being accepted for the job as a janitor, a municipality accepting your offer as a road constructor (bribe), and lobbying for some particular issue is another level.

Capital rules countries (Iron law of oligarchy – from perfect party democracy to being a maid for the super-rich). This is a fact. And another fact is that the richest super-rich family is Jewish (Rothschild family – they maintain their religious identity).

So is this antisemitism? Now we get into modern times when the internet is full of conspiracy theories of Jews (in their opinion – every single Jew) controlling every aspect of our lives. So wrong!

But they have enormous influence based solely on religious affiliation. And they are not alone in having influence! There are broadly Anglo-Saxon groups, more specifically Irish-Catholic and so on, not only the Jewish one.

So are you destroying politics and the lives of ordinary people by clientelism? We have to get rid of it (either non-Jewish or Jewish)! We are not against you because you are a Jew, but because of the clientelism. However, we should note that no ethnic group’s clientelism is so powerful.

“There’s a major lobby in the United States. They are hard workers,” said Oliver Stone, a famous director. “They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has f***ed up United States foreign policy for years.”

Now history again. “Despite the fact that he opposed antisemitism during the Hilsner affair, Czech politician (mostly known as a philosopher in the West) Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk (1850-1937) believed that Jews controlled the press and helped the nascent state of Czechoslovakia during its struggle for independence.” As a matter of fact, the Rothschild family was the richest in the first Czechoslovakian republic (therefore the connection to France).

You cannot write something that does not celebrate Jewish clientelism, you will get strong revenge immediately. Even the slightest mention of ethnicity (that something is wrong) gives you major backlash. We are in 2024 and this is the US (for example, Kanye West or Elon Musk).

At the most extreme application of the label, antisemitism may be the criticism of the height of Israeli taxes.

You must distinguish the ordinary Jews, Israel and its government, and highly prominent Jewish clientelism. Hitler saw the Jewish dominance (I repeat not controlling everyone and everything, just influence) and had ALL Jews gassed. This is something completely twisted.

In 2024, there is no dominance in Anglophone and Europe – it is 50/50. But what do I mean? Hitler gassed the whole ethnicity and the clientelism coped with it. If Czechs had such influence and he gassed them (and it was one of the options), no influence would have endured.

As an atheist, I don’t get why some American super-rich groups are repulsed by them. I would understand it if they didn’t like the clientelism itself, but because of religion?

So don’t blame a Rabbi, Reform Jew, Ashkenazi Jew, Jewish businessman, lawyer, or medical doctor! Blame the people involved in the grand-schemed clientelism that is detrimental to all of us.

Destroying antisemitism that has nothing to do with the super-rich groups will foster better coexistence for all of us.
